Announcement of the First UBET Betting Tournament in 2023
A new UBET testnet public Betting tournament will kick off again on January 13th and will run for a total of 3 weeks till Feb 2nd. We concluded the last World Cup betting tournament [insert link of the article] and would like to invite all new & past participants to join the upcoming tournament. We will adopt the point system and only the bets within the 3 weeks will be taken into consideration to ensure fairness.
The Betting tournament is open to all early adaptors to experience the UBET platform first-handed and all the feedback from users will be taken into consideration for product improvement. The participants can use this as an opportunity to test personal betting skills on all ongoing basketball and football leagues available. Even better, there is 400 USDT in total prizes to be won. Everyone will receive 500 UBCKS (fictional money) and 1 Testnet MATIC. The goal is to finish among the top 10 on the leaderboard at the end of the tournament.
Referral Program
For all Ubettors, to thank you for your continued support, we are giving away 100 USDT referral prizes to those who successfully refer a winning friend (who will be placed top 1–10 in the tournament). Each player can earn one winning referral per tournament for a prize of 10 USDT.
For now, to qualify as a successful referral, UBET members have to invite the friend to UBET’s discord server and the friend will have to request UBCKS via Discord so the team can smoothly track the referral mark. All referrals via other channels, i.e. in-person, Telegram, WhatsApp will not be counted* this time.

Step-by-step Guide:
This guide will walk you through everything you need to know about competing in the UBET Beta tournament. It is broken down into easy-to-follow steps.
Step 1 — Sign-up/Login
There are two ways to sign up or log in (if you have already signed up). The two ways are:
Using Magic link (email address)
Using Metamask (wallet address)
A. Using Magic link
To start, go to the UBET Beta page and click on the “Sign Up” button. If you already signed up, then click on Log In. Enter your email address and click the Sign-Up button.
You will be redirected to the magic link verification page to confirm your email address. An email will be sent to your email address; click the “Log in to UBet Testnet” button to be redirected to magic link page to automatically sign you in. Return to the UBET Beta page.
B. Using Metamask
Note that you may skip to Step 2 if you are using the magic link (email sign-up).
First, ensure you have your Metamask wallet installed and your network set to the Polygon Mumbai Testnet network. If you don’t know how to do this, here is a step-by-step guide to getting started with Metamask.
Use your Metamask app and navigate to the Metamask browser.
Copy the UBET Beta tournament link and paste it on the search bar to open the UBET Beta page.
Click on the “Sign Up” button, then the “Connect Wallet” button. Select Metamask and from the pop-up page click on the “Connect” button as shown below. This process will automatically log you in.
Step 2 — Copy and Share your wallet address
After signing up, copy your wallet address by clicking on the menu icon from the UBET homepage and share your wallet address on the UBET Discord Tournament Support Channel. You will be airdropped UBCKS tokens, which you will use to bet on the UBET Beta. They have no value, but you can use them to compete in the Beta tournament and win USDT ERC20 Polygon.
Step 3 — Place Bets
You can now use your UBCKS tokens to bet on the teams and market options of your choice. Follow the steps below to place your bets:
i. From the homepage, you can select the market options you wish to bet on from the list of matches. Proceed to click on the cart icon.
ii. The interface on the right will appear; enter the amount you wish to bet (in UBCKS). To proceed, check the box and then click the “Place Bets’’ button. A pop-up will appear, click on “Confirm” to proceed.
iii. For your first bet, the DApp will require you to do “One-Time Approval”. This permits our smart contracts to interact with your bets.
You can now be able to place bets. To proceed, select “Place Bets”, confirm your bets, and wait to successfully complete your bet.
Subsequent bets will only ask for your confirmation for the UBET DApp to be allowed access to deduct the required amount of tokens you staked.
Step 4 — Share your winnings
The final step ensures that your winnings are documented so you can be ranked on the leaderboard. You can post your winnings (screenshots) on the Brag-and-Cope Discord channel.
Step 5 — Navigating the UBET Beta Platform
Bet History — You can review your bet history, which includes both settled bets and open bets (ongoing bets). First, from the homepage, click on the menu icon and select “Bet History” which will open the bet history page on the next page so you can review the results.
Terms and conditions for the tournament:
If two sets of predictions look similar to each other, they are only qualified for one spot of winning
Each individual can only claim a prize once during each tournament
All participants comply with the rules set by UBET and UBET strives to make rules fair and transparent
